Central Nepal hosts the largest mountains in the world, which carve the lush agricultural valleys and form the pristine glacier rivers of Nepal, many of which flow into India, starting from the top of the world!
HTCC has created unique coffee blends, named after these majestic rivers. We want to create awareness about the vast beauty and diverse landscape of the Himalayas and the rivers are great representatives of the wild, wonderful bounty of Nepal.
Bagmati River is the headwaters of the great Ganges river in India, it is considered sacred and is the site for millions of pilgrims from Asia who travel extensive miles to dip their tired feet in it’s water. This river is showcased in our Kafmanbrew Espresso Roast, a blend of organic, fair trade Brazilian and Nepalese beans.
Buri Gandaki River is a glacial river and one of the steepest in the world, dropping over 80 ft. per mile! This river is showcased as our Bamboo blend, a dark roast blend of organic, fair trade Sumatra and Nepalese beans.
Daurandi River is located in Central Nepal and is home to hundreds of various ethnic groups who have indigenously farmed these lands. It is also headquarters to the Maoist movement in Nepal. This river is showcased as our Maoist blend, a french roast of organic, fair trade Mexican-Chiapas and Nepalese beans.
Dudh Kosi River is the river of milk and honey in Nepal. It hosts some of the most prized agricultural lands and supports millions of native people who live along it’s banks. This river is showcased in our Milk blend, a medium roasted coffee comprised of organic, fair trade Peruvian and Nepalese beans.
Kali Gandaki River is the holiest river in Nepal. It is strewn with funeral pires and shrines for the dead and is created by the glaciers of Ganesh and Manaslu Himalaya. This river is showcased in our 100% Nepal, Nepal Himal full-city roast coffee.

Sun Kosi River is the wet and wild river of Nepal. Known as one of the top ten classic rafting rivers of the world, tourists visit to enjoy the fantastic scenery as well as for the thrill of white water. This river is showcased in our Sun Rock blend, a medium roasted coffee made from organic, fair trade Columbian and Nepalese beans.
Trisuli River is a confluence of three other glacial rivers in Central Nepal; the Dudh Kosi, Sun Kosi and Daurandi rivers. This river is showcased in our Wildflower blend, a medium roast with SWP (Swiss water processed) decafinated beans from Peru and Nepal. It has just 1/3 the amount of caffeine as regular raosts.
